A husband’ need for support

A patient’ husband whose job has been an on the road truck driver must now quit his job to care for his wife as her illness has progressed rapidly. They had their savings and knew after that, their only source of income was the wife’ social security check and SSI money. The monthly bills are somewhat manageable for a short while however unexpected expenditures arose as a result of the wife’s illness and subsequent passing.  While the husband is looking forward to getting back to work and on his feet financially, he stills needs financial assistance until such time that he returns to work.  The social worker helped this family during the wife’s illness by raising money from local community resources however it just was not enough.   The social worker reached out to the Foundation to pay his rent giving him the relief needed to help ease his mind.
