A young mom has dealt with and battled her COPD disease conditions for several years of her life.  The need for medical and electrical supplies overtime has increased the family bills significantly while the income to the home has not kept up with their cost of living.  With young school age children in the home in need of the basics for school — clothes and supplies– the family finances were hit even harder.  The family found themselves struggling to pay the rent and the electric bill and eventually felt forced make a decision about which one NOT to pay.  The Foundation assisted the family with their rent and got their electric bill caught up as well.
